È quanto ha dichiarato Thierry Breton, Commissario europeo per il mercato interno e i servizi, dopo il suo incontro con il CEO di Google, Sundar Pichai, specificando che le due parti hanno raggiunto un accordo. “Abbiamo concordato di lavorare insieme a tutti i principali attori europei e non europei per sviluppare un patto sull’AI su base volontaria fin da ora, prima della scadenza legale per il regolamento sull’intelligenza artificiale“.

Margrethe Vestager, Commissario europeo per la concorrenza, ha inoltre sottolineato la necessità di un accordo volontario sulle regole universali per l’AI, un tema che “è già stato discusso al G7 di Takakasi” e che sarà “seguito dal Consiglio Commercio e Tecnologia“, ha proseguito.
